Gander Way Vineyards & Winery, LLC is a family owned business, founded in 2005 by a diverse family with many ties to the Northeastern portion of Oklahoma. The extensiveness of this project was much more than we anticipated, but we have kept moving forward and soon we will be providing you, your friends and family, and your businesses a wonderful opportunity to see Oklahoma in a different light.

Our vineyard is located in the beautiful hills of Osage County, only minutes away from downtown Tulsa and the cities of Sand Springs and Skiatook. The winery sits in the middle of our vineyard with breathtaking views in every direction. With the maturation of our vineyard, the construction of our building and very few neighbors in site, we are able to provide a very tranquil setting for you to enjoy in the near future.

With development of our vineyard beginning in the Fall of 2005, we were able to move rather quickly with 2200 grapevines planted in the Spring of 2006, a task I would not recommend for anyone just starting off. Unaware of the magnitude of such an endeavor, we were able to persevere in the face of this monumental task.

In 2007, we added approximately 800 more plants to our existing vineyard. In 2008 excitement filled the air when we began the construction of our winery facilties, which were completed by the beginning of 2010. We took on the responsibility of doing an enormous amount of this construction ourselves, therefore, it has taken quite some time to get to where we are now.

The doors to the winery opened on November 30th, 2010 and we have steadily grown in business, offering more than just a simple tasting and wine purchase. We have the ability to offer you and yours, your buisness, and just about any entity, a unique atmosphere to have a private event. We now have Saturday lunches so that you may come, enjoy some wine, as well as some good cooking.
